Spicy Fish Tacos Recipe
Fancy Mexican for dinner? These spicy fish tacos combine melt in the mouth fish with creamy avocado and crisp coleslaw, all wrapped in a soft corn tortilla!
Ingredients
Serves 4

1⁄4 cup Greek yoghurt

1 avocado mashed
-
1⁄2 lemon, squeezed
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp cumin
-
1 tsp chilli powder
-
1 tsp smoky paprika
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
2 tbsp olive oil
-
4 basa fillets
-
12 corn tortillas
-
1 cup thinly sliced red cabbage
-
1 cup grated carrot
-
Lime wedges
-
Coriander to serve
Method

Mix Greek yoghurt, avocado and lemon juice in a small bowl and set aside.

Mix the garlic powder, cumin, chilli powder, paprika and seasoning in a bowl until well combined.

Add the olive oil and fish fillets to the mixture and mix until the fillets are well coated.

Heat a griddle pan on a medium heat and cook fish fillets for about 3-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.

Set fish aside and heat the tortillas on the griddle for a few minutes until warm.

Place fish, cabbage and carrot inside a tortilla and top with avocado salsa and coriander and serve with lime wedges.
